The Puritan's annual literary contest for poetry and fiction

Indiana Faith and Writing Conference October 31 - November 1, 2014
You’ve just finished your first publishable work and you’re wondering where to turn next. Come to the Indiana Faith and Writing Conference (directed by our own Heather Gemmen Wilson)—a two-day event at Anderson University (Indiana) that focuses on helping writers get published. You’ll be able to attend seminars on how to write proposals, why and how to work with agents, and other useful information. The Missouri Review’s 24th Jeffrey E. Smith Editors’ Prize in fiction, poetry, and nonfiction is now open for submissions. First-place winners in each category receive a prize of $5,000, plus a feature in our spring issue and paid travel to our gala reading and reception in Columbia, Missouri.
