MFA Open House Set for March 19, 2016

Interested in enrolling in our MFA Program? Then you probably have questions. We've got answers and we're serving them up at an Open House on Saturday, March 19. We invite prospective and newly accepted students to join us on campus in Ashland, Ohio from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Program Director, Dr. Stephen Haven will present information on the details of our curriculum and study, including: the different genres in the program the nature of a low-residency MFA program the sequence of courses the cross-genre emphasis the experience of our two-week intensive summer residencies how non-residential online classes work Admissions Representative T.J. Shannon and MFA Administrative Director Cassandra Brown will also be on hand to answer questions about the application process, summer residency, and more. January Calls for Submission

Each month, the Ashland MFA Program receives calls for submissions and contest deadlines, which it publicizes in its monthly newsletter. Listed below are this month's calls for submissions. Journal Submissions Barely South Review is now accepting submissions for our Spring 2016 Reading Period. We welcome submissions of fiction, poetry, nonfiction, art, and short essays on craft.
