A Note from the Director

As part of the fifth year anniversary celebration of the Ashland MFA Program, we will have a larger presence than usual at the annual AWP Conference, this year to be held in Chicago. We will be a major sponsor of the 2012 conference, with conference or off-site faculty readings in poetry and creative nonfiction. The Ashland Poetry Press and River Teeth will also be literary sponsors. As major sponsors we will have free registration at the conference for all Ashland MFA students. As always we will have a booth at the book fair, with book signings and issues of River Teeth and Ashland Poetry Press titles on display. Finally, we will also have a dinner or a reception for the entire Ashland MFA community. (Last year we had some 25 faculty and students attend the Ashland MFA dinner in Washington).
